Ryan J Anderson
I attended college at Central Michigan University and graduated with a BAA in Broadcasting and Cinematic Arts and a minor in Music. I studied audio production as well as composition, vocal performance, ear training, and music theory, allowing me to gain a much broader understanding for all creative decisions behind production.
After graduating, I began my professional recording career in Chicago at Chicago Recording Company, working humbly next to grammy-winning engineers. While my days were consumed by the studio, my nights were spent assisting with sound at Lincoln Hall, one of Chicago's premier music venues.
I currently reside in Royal Oak, MI. When not recording and producing in the studio, you will find me working as a live sound engineer at a number of music venues throughout metro Detroit including Royal Oak Music Theater, Saint Andrew's Hall, The Village Theater, and The Blind Pig.
During my career in live sound I have personally engineered a wide variety of musicians, from local bands to grammy-winning artists. I have been contracted to work for several music festivals as well, including Detroit's Mo Pop Festival and New Holland's Hatter Days celebration. From studio to the stage, I refuse to aim for anything short of excellence. I take pride in my work and I let it speak for me.
Creativity is what drives me. I am always ready for a new adventure and have a personality that can't help but keep busy. I believe that experiences are the biggest source of inspiration and create the music that moves others. In the end, music is an experience in and of itself.
